Joe is a music composer and sound designer in North Carolina and he does all things music and audio (custom music, jingles, sound design, mixing, location audio).
He always takes a detailed approach to his work, critically thinking about the sonic identity of every brand he works with. Since starting his career in 2009, he has worked on projects for clients like IBM, Comcast, RedHat, Nike, McDonald's, and The Carolina Theatre. Joe has also written music and created sound design for numerous interactive, virtual reality, and video game projects.
In addition to music composition and sound design, Joe is very passionate about teaching others about music and audio. He holds B.M. and M.M. degrees in Commercial and Electronic Music from Western Carolina University where he taught as a Graduate Assistant and then as an Adjunct Professor. Joe offers private lessons in music composition and production, guitar, and saxophone. He is always open to taking on private students at any skill level.
